HOLINESS-PEACE!__If the Son therefore shall make you free {from sin}, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:36) Then said Jesus to those ...which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, {to be holy..free from this worlds lust and love for it} then are ye my disciples indeed; (John 8:31)
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:28-29) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Book of Job Print E-mail

PART TWO:

Why is Elihu so hated, despised and called mysterious, arrogant, counted as Job's so called friends in so called condemning Job? Why not say that of Christ also as He brings the truth and is hated of most of Israel and the world and each of us until we come to our senses by hearing the truth and bowing down our lives to Him and his word of truth! The Truth isn't pleasant until we wake up to God’s righteousness and even then we don't like to give up our unbelief and our way of doing business we have concluded to do for God.

I have never, other than for Christ and his disciples, seen so much disgust for the Holy spirit's words in bringing light and truth thru a young man, knowing who he is in God, for his very name insinuates he is of God, and coming on the behalf of God for Job. Job would have died had he not repented as he did in chapter 42 and made sacrifices for His three friends [notice Elihu wasn't one of them and further more, if Elihu was part of the condemnation, God would have mentioned him too]. Job was a prominent person of some type and "God is with kings on the throne".

Also Noah and Daniel were in their particular affliction [with patience waiting for the deliverance of God also], being in the midst of adversity as Job was but keeping their integrity [patience and belief] as well. Job did not receive deliverance and prosperity until He sacrificed unto God for his three friends after he repented. Remember we are kings and priests unto God in Christ.

I have never in my life seen so much admiration for [religious] Job rather than Elihu among Christians, furthermore, as has been pointed out, very little praise and uplifting of God. Boy when we don't want light we don't want light. Christians should be excited about Elihu who brought truth and light to Job as we do today. Man, its a shame!  I look at this,  that if one can't see the truth of Elihu about Job how is one going to see the truth and light of Christ and His message of faith?

Christ was shunned emphatically too, being called all sorts of names also. But it should not be so with those who name the name of Christ. To say point blank, Elihu did not know what he was talking about, should be cut out of the bible or should  be ignored, and let it go at that, also saying Elihu is mysterious!  To those that like their position in their self righteous way of serving Christ, not wanting to change as truth is revealed, I guess Elihu would be mysterious.

Then I have my serious doubts as to the validly of that persons faith in seeking the light [truth] of God in Christ. I believe that anyone who shuns Elihu and isn't willing to look at him in the light that God has provided, that person just might be self-righteous, justifying themselves rather than God, excusing them selves from faith in God as He says of Himself just like Job. Elihu, was, and is, a representative of, just like a disciple of the N.T. who brings the gospel of Christ in spirit and in truth, young and old, male or female for deliverance of souls that are crying out to God. I am inclined to believe Elihu is like a true disciple of Christ today as we are sent to be “mediators, witnesses, and representatives” of Christ and His word to those who are thirsting for God and His truth who want to be delivered “from the powers of Darkness into His marvelous light”!

When people who hold to God without knowledge but believe there is a God to serve despite all odds are commended for integrity, then thats who God sends His disciples to and offers Christ and His word, just like Peter was to the gentiles. Of course we know its the old testament where the accuser of the brethren can go before God, because of sin. So Job was doing something contrary and Satan knew it by what Job was doing.

James is speaking of the mercy of God to his Saints until Christ comes to deliver us out of this world's affliction of wickedness, equating it to Job's [patience] deliverance out of his affliction. See how pitiful God was to deliver Job, from his sin of self-righteousness, justifying himself rather than God, even in the eyes of all the people, and out of his affliction to set him upright and whole.

I have never seen such adoration for Job and such distaste and hate for a young man who brings truth for the purpose of fulfilling Job's request for a person just like him if, God wouldn't come, to tell him the truth. So God sends Elihu and even Himself comes afterwards.

God wouldn't have done those things if Job wasn't for Him but Job had misrepresented God to the people justifying himself rather then God, not crying out for deliverance but rather justifying himself to God, not really knowing Him and thats how Job got in the fix he was in. I am so amazed beyond words as to the dislike of Elihu by bible toting, professing Christians who say they go by the “whole” bible. It’s a real puzzle that people do not acknowledge the person of Elihu and his message, for it equates to not having any faith in Christ either but a hanging on to a religious form.

Job is a book that is a stone concrete pillar of self righteous religious systems, the harlot church, the spirit of religion, we all have heard over and over, again and again, never hearing of Elihu as much as “poor old Job and his absolute integrity [“poor little old me”] of the flesh as God rolls the dice in my affliction, He might have given me since I am law mindedly following God and so righteous”!

God’s truth in Christ destroys that “concrete pillar of vain imaginations justifying myself rather than God”. If we don’t get the truth of Job it wars against our faith in Christ and causes us to be uncertain about the True Delivering God and His righteousness.

At this time, I keep looking and reading prayerfully to know and understand from God’s viewpoint, the light of this book more, for this is all I have so far.

We know in Ezek God mentions Noah, Daniel and Job, three times noting their righteousness. Noah was in affliction [midst of ungodliness of 120 years with patience waiting as God had promised], Daniel was in affliction [separated from Jerusalem waiting in patience as God had promised] being near to rebuilding Jerusalem and the temple. Job had affliction because of his unbelief in who God really was, justifying himself rather than God so He, through Elihu and His coming Himself delivered Job. So God delivered these three men due to their righteousness and integrity to remain in Jehovah in patience waiting as God had promised, which Job completely obtained in the beginning of chapter 42:1-6 finally, in that, then, he spoke "what was right in God's ears" “repentance in dust and ashes"! Also Noah, Daniel, and Job were waiting, in patience, for the deliverance of God as we do today waiting in faith in Christ and His word [patience] for deliverance from this world of "the shadow of death" wherein unrighteousness resides. God is a delivering God as He promised.

“There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil!”

I ask you when is truth evil? When its to a defiant heart to remain in its own ways that are not God’s ways possibly?

Elihu only signifies to me, at a time when I needed to know God and His deliverance,

the truth of God's word and I was set free which the Lord was showing me all through His word about faith versus “my works”. For it isn’t “How it works” but “It is knowing Him”! Then, being in and out of churches in my youth, and today, I have never heard of anyone, extremely very few at the most, being excited about Elihu, nor ever preaching him, who brings the truth and light of God, as disciples of Christ do today, to help Job out of his predicament to show his sin and rebellion in justifying himself rather then God. I do not lift Job or Elihu up over God nor over each other but to put both in their respective places according to God and His truth.

I know I relish true deliverance from God as He says it not what I want to believe it to be. If I turn my heart to my way I think I should serve God and believe I have arrived then light to the inner man will never come for I have closed my spiritual ears. The Light of God in Christ in faith is progressive forever. We have arrived, when in His presence only, as we see Him face to face. As we cry out and in faith and patience we will see the deliverance of the Lord our God. Our integrity towards God and for Him should always be even in time of persecution or affliction in faith and patience knowing, trusting, He will deliver us.

Today, and as it has been in the past, people who love God and are speaking His truth to others are the "God Sent Elihu's" of the past and present bringing the truth of God in the light of the gospel of Christ.
